L & R CLASSIC LOCK
|
|
This lock is of Germanic design. Locks of this type
were commonly used throughout the colonies by the
Masters of Kentucky rifle art. These locks have a quick
time by virtue of friction reducing bearing surfaces on
the tumbler and sear, cam action, and a shorter stroke.
Frizzen has a roller cam and rain sealer on underside
of the lid that helps keep your powder dry. It has a
thicker bolster, hook tight main spring, one posion
sear action, and is highly polished internally. Plates
measure 5 3/8" x 1". Recommended flint size is 3/4".
