The Queen Anne has a rounded plate and sculptured hammer that indicates the influence of English architecture. Many locks were used from the early 1700's to the last quarter of the 18th century. They were imported from England and imported throughout the colonies. These locks are suitable for rifles and smoothbores of all types. Plates measure 5 9/16" x 1 1/16". Traditional hook type springs, bearing surfaces on tumbler and sear, water resistant frizzen, and highly polished internally. Flint size 3/4".
